Explore the City
The City Centre location for the hotel means everything Birmingham has to offer is right on the doorstep, with the wider West Midlands region within easy reach.
If you're visiting the city for leisure, you'll find Bullring and Grand Central, The Mailbox and the various independent shopping hubs from the Great Western Arcade to Birmingham New Street, plenty to satisfy those in need of some retail therapy. The many attractions of the city are well within walking distance too, from the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to Brindley Place, the Chinese Quarter and the Gay Village. We're also a short journey away from the city's premiere entertainment hubs, from sports venues such as Edgbaston and Villa Park to music and performance spaces like the Utilita Arena and The Warehouse.
The coming months are packed full of things to do in the second city, including;
The Utilita hosts comics Peter Kay (25th July) and Paul Smith (25th September), as well as a variety of musicians from Evanescence (11th September) to Niall Horan (22nd September) to The Pussycat Dolls (29th September)
It's a summer of sport in the city, with the European Athletics Championships coming to the UK for the first time (10th - 16th August), while Edgbaston is hosting the T20 Vitality Blast throughout July before welcoming The Hundred through July and August.
The NEC will be a hub of activity, with a number of exhibitions and conventions including MCM Comic Con Birmingham (7th - 9th August) and Autumn Fair (6th - 9th September)
The city itself will be hosting some Brummie favourites that you won't find anywhere else, including the Birmingham Cocktail Weekend (9th - 12th July), Birmingham Restaurant Festival (1st - 31st August), Birmingham Weekender (23rd - 25th August) and Birmingham Heritage Week events (11th - 20th September).
