The City Centre location for the hotel means everything Birmingham has to offer is right on the doorstep, with the wider West Midlands region within easy reach.

If you're visiting the city for leisure, you'll find Bullring and Grand Central, The Mailbox and the various independent shopping hubs from the Great Western Arcade to Birmingham New Street, plenty to satisfy those in need of some retail therapy. The many attractions of the city are well within walking distance too, from the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to Brindley Place, the Chinese Quarter and the Gay Village. We're also a short journey away from the city's premiere entertainment hubs, from sports venues such as Edgbaston and Villa Park to music and performance spaces like the Utilita Arena and The Warehouse.

April has a lot in store across the city, kicking off with the Easter weekend and then continuing throughout the month. Some of our favourite picks for what to get up to include:

  • If Easter weekend is for the kids, then the following weekend is for the parents as the Gin and Rum Festival (11th) returns to Edgbaston for its 8th year of spirit sampling.

  • The Jewellery Quarter Artisan Markets (18th) will be back up and running with their first date of the year to explore local crafts and products in this historic and creative region of the city.

  • The Utilita Arena is once again packed with musical talent, with The Prodigy (18th), Yungblud (23rd), Alex Warren (24th) and Louis Tomlinson (25th) all performing this month.
