Our dining areas may look a little different at the moment, but we haven’t compromised on our specification; we’ll be making sure our locally sourced, freshly prepared dishes are ready and waiting for you...
Our lunch buffets are moving to a served offer to provide you with an excellent choice of freshly prepared dishes whilst minimising contact. Our brand new "Tiffin Tin" served hot lunches will also be available from September 2020, ask our team for details!
The spacious Courtyard Restaurant allows for socially distanced dining for our meeting and events delegates.
The hotel bar is, without question, one of the most popular places to relax and unwind at the end of the day, with all of your favourite tipples, as well as a few local specialities you may wish to try while you're in the second city. It may be a quiet drink with friends or a bite to eat from our bar menu with colleagues, either way, the choice is yours. If you've had a particularly long day, you may not feel like heading to the restaurant or bar, never fear, our team are here to deliver a delicious choice of dishes from our room service menu, even the puddings!
We are pleased to announce our bar is now open 7 days a week. On Fridays the bar is open from 5.30pm - 10pm, and on Saturdays is open from 3pm - 10pm. For full information on our bar opening times, please contact the hotel on 0121 204 3011.
If you're feeling active and you want to burn some calories, you may not know that Birmingham's oldest swimming pool is a few footsteps from the hotel. Within the stunningly restored Woodcock Sports Centre, this Victorian building has a 110 station gymnasium, sports halls, squash courts, steam rooms and sauna. The gym and pool are free of charge for our guests. We're lucky enough to be on the green campus of the University, so if you fancy a quick jog in the open air, take a run from the hotel across to the lakeside and around the campus.
