The Environment and ISO14001
Here at Conference Aston we are proud to carry the International Standard Organisation's British Standard ISO14001 and the venues and team are dedicated to complying with ISO 14001 initiatives and aim to reduce our impact on the environment by using less resources and recycling where possible. We strive towards better management of our environmental impact and continue to improve our practices in order to increase our sustainability.
Our environmental policy will inspire us to meet, support, influence and raise awareness to reflect latest environmental practice. This will be through the implementation of an environmental management system in pursuit of sustainability and continuous improvement. We will seek innovative ways of meeting environmental objectives. Conference Aston are committed to ensuring their operations have a minimal impact on the environment; all employees have a part to play and wherever possible it is our objective to promote and encourage the processes and systems that are in place to achieve our environmental policy.Conference Aston Limited operate as part of the commercial income stream for Aston University; all the surplus income from the conference centre and hotel activity is therefore strategically re-invested into teaching to develop future graduates; research to develop initiatives within health, business, engineering and languages with the overall aim of sustaining UK and International industries.
